Meet The Herd

At Little Foot Farm, we raise KGBA registered Kinder goats for meat, milk, and conformation. We do have 2 Finnsheep and a Tennessee walking horse as well, but those three have been promoted to pet status. We are no longer raising Finnsheep, Jacob sheep, or Nigerian Dwarfs for breeding stock, but hope to re-establish our flocks in the coming years. Below you will meet our current little herd of Kinder goats!

The Pasture Pets

Black Beauty (AKA Beauty)

Beauty is our 21 y/o Tennessee Walking Horse mare. She loves eating food, going on trail rides, and rolling in mud right after a bath. She is in partial retirement, giving riding lessons a couple times a week and starting liberty work. She enjoys her top-tier herd status, being the boss over all the goats and sheep.

Aine (Pronounced On-yah)

Aine is our 11 year old Finnsheep ewe. She was the very first ewe in to start our original 4-H sheep project. Since then, she has raised over 30 beautiful lambs, and has always been the old soul of the flock. She is by far the favorite old lady, and loves being spoiled. She is very always mellow, but when the goats get on her nerves, she reminds them who’s in charge!

Peanut

Peanut is our dear little Finnsheep ewe. She is 5 years old, and is the life of the herd. She was a bottle baby, and had a very rough start to life. She has since come a long way, and is always the first one to greet anyone that comes to see the herd! She loves following us around the pasture when doing fence checks, cheek scratches, and car rides.
