General information

Pricing & Information

We raise Kinder goats, a dual-purpose breed known for excellent milk production, efficient feed conversion, and high-quality meat. Prices vary based on individual conformation, temperament, and overall potential.

Show Quality Breeding/Milking Kids

  • $400–$700
  • All breeding-quality kids are registered with KGBA.
  • Prices reflect lineage, structural conformation, udder potential (for doelings), and overall quality.

Meat Kids

  • Typically around $400-$500
  • These kids are suited for raising out for home processing or custom orders.
  • For details on processing, timelines, deposits, and meat pickup, please see our Meat & Fiber page.

Pet Kids

  • $275–$300 *We generally do not produce pet-quality kids because of our strict breeding program, except for on a rare occasion. All our kids are friendly and would be suitable pets, but if they are listed as breeding quality, we sell them for their potential as such.*
  • Ideal for families, hobby farms, or companion animals.
  • Typically disbudded, handled frequently, and well-socialized.

Herd Health

Our Kinder herd is managed with high standards for health and welfare. Kids are:

  • Disbudded and dewormed
  • Frequently handled
  • Raised on high-quality forage and supplements
  • Monitored closely from birth
  • Socialized early with different species for easy transitions to new homes

*We have chosen a more holistic approach to health management and do not regularly vaccinate our goats. However, if you would like your reserved kid to be vaccinated and/or health tested, we can perform these upon request for an additional fee.
