Our Kinder goats are raised on open pasture with access to browse on all sorts of plants. During the winter they are fed hay and other forage based supplements until the grass grows back in the spring. This results in flavorful, tender meat that’s both healthy and humanely produced.
Chevon (Goat Meat)
We offer a variety of cuts, from roasts and chops to ground goat. Our meat is processed locally under inspection, ensuring quality and freshness in every package.
Currently Out of Stock! We will have a limited supply of cuts available in April 2026, message us for details!
Whole or Half Shares
For those who prefer to stock their freezer, whole or half goat shares are occasionally available by request.
Availability varies based on the number of kids born each spring, and each season may look a little different. For the best carcass yield, we recommend allowing goats to grow out for 12–14 months before processing.
Reservations for whole or half shares start in April-May 2026.
- Freezer Kid Flat rate (You purchase the goat at 4-6 months old and finish them yourself. Kids weigh between 65-80lbs on average) $350.00
- Whole share and Half share prices vary based on target weight and age of the animal. For a half share of a 12-14 month old at about 100-120lb live weight, we charge $350.00. You will also pay half of the butcher/processing cost directly to the facility.
Buyers are encouraged to finish growing out their selected kid after weaning or at 4–6 months of age. If you prefer that we continue raising the goat to processing age/weight, an additional fee will apply to cover feed and extended care.
Custom processing options can be arranged, however we do NOT offer on farm slaughtering options (sorry!).
Pelts
We offer a limited supply of goat pelts after each processing season. Each pelt is unique; tanned from our own goats to ensure nothing goes to waste. Soft, durable, and ideal for home décor, crafting, or practical use. Please message us for details.
